Japanese Tattoo Designs For Girl

Here are some of the top designs that work very well for the female body. Of course any design is open to get by any female. A person is free to choose any design they want and a lady could get a huge samurai on their back if they want. However, these themes below tend to be favored by women.

Geisha The Oriental Pinup

Another popular and traditional theme in Japanese tattoos are Geisha. These women were not the prostitutes or hookers but rather women of culture and refinement that were seen to carry the traditions of the culture. They were often extremely beautiful and talented women they could sing, play traditional instruments, dance and entertain. There of course are tons of traditional woodcuts that feature the "floating world" where the Samurai and Geisha would meet. Many of these woodcuts and themes have been done in tattoo designs. If you are looking for a strong female image then you could always get a design of a samurai's wife who were traditionally trained in martial arts and expected to defend their home if needed.

Hot Tattoo Ideas For Men

The next step to a great tattoo design is to think about the symbolism of the tattoo. What thought, feeling, emotion to you want to symbolize? Do you want to show a life change that you have made, strength, power, and overcoming death? Whatever the mood, option, feeling or thought that you want to portray is there is probably some symbol that can be connected with it. For example a skull or even a pile of skulls might represent a near death experience. By thinking about the underlying thought or feeling you want to portray first you can then second find a design that works with that.

Now is the best part you can take some time once you have identified the location and the type of symbol you want to use in your tattoo and you can find other tattoos that fit those. It might be that you are looking for a skull tattoo design. So you find a bunch of other skull tattoos that others have gotten. You can then tweak it to fit your situation. Use your resources and either be a DIY, or a Do It Yourself type person and create your own tattoo or hand over the resources to a professional and have them design the tattoo for you.

Pinup For Girl Tattoos 3 Different Types

1. Straight up and down.

I call this style "straight up and down" simply because the design is of the girl standing straight, many times in high heels or on her tip toes, her backside facing forward and her head turned at top. These work great for the forearms and calves.

2. Curvy.

The curvy pinups will have more shape to them. Sometimes the arms will be raised and hands clenched behind the head while the body curves. Sometimes the girl will be kneeling. There's usually a twist involved, or a pronunciation of certain body parts like the hips and breasts. These are great for the upper arms, shoulders, and back.

3. Legs, legs, legs!

One of my favorite pinup girl tattoos are one's which emphasize the legs. They will be either high kicking in the air while the girl is seated or lying down, or the legs will be crossed while seated. There are other variations, but the legs always seem to be the emphasis of the tattoo. These can work great on the inside of the upper arm, upper chest and thigh areas.

Skull Tattoo Design The true meaning of a skull tattoo design

There is actually a more in-depth meaning to the skull tattoo designs than just fear, danger and death - and in fact it was not originally conceived as a symbol to represent any of these things. It was instead originally used to represent the symbol of 'great change'. In analyzing what them traditionally meant in ancient society we discover that it was related to the happening of great changes and it is highly probable that its association with death grew because of the fact that death is the greatest change that we will experience.

Today it is extremely unfortunate that the majority of the general public does not understand the true meaning of them, and when they see it they automatically relate the symbol to fear, danger and death. A lot of conservative people loathe the design because of its perceived meaning; however, if they were aware of the true meaning behind the design their views may be totally different.

If you decide that this type of design is the one for you, then your next step is to choose which genre you would like to go with. As the designs have been around for centuries the styles have somewhat evolved over time. The styles range from the old fashioned Jolly Roger, the pirate's flag with the skull and cross bones or perhaps you would prefer the bio-mechanical style of skull - the choices are extensive and totally dependent on your personal taste.

Choosing Zodiac Symbol Tattoo

Getting a tattoo of your zodiac sign is a smart choice, no matter if it is your first or your hundredth. One of the best aspects about using your zodiac sign, is that your birthday never changes. This means that your new tattoo will stay relevant no matter what else changes in your life. Body art of your zodiac sign is a personal and timeless symbol of who you are.

Getting a tattoo is a major life decision that shouldn't be taken lightly. They last for the rest of your life, so you want to make sure you choose a design that will never go out of style and that you will still love 10, 20, 30 or more years from now. You want to make sure that you choose a zodiac symbol tattoo design that you will personally love for the rest of your life. There are certain things you can do to make sure that your design is a work of art that will bring you years of enjoyment.

Shop Around

Don't just rush out to the nearest tattoo shop and pick a design off the wall that is only sort of like what you really want. Remember that your new zodiac symbol tattoo is going to be on your body forever, you want a design that you won't regret later. Take your time and shop around. There are a lot of great free tattoo gallery sites where you can see lots of different kinds of zodiac sign designs, to get an idea what style and type of tattoo you want. Free tattoo sites are great place to start getting ideas, but if you want body art that is really special and one of a kind, then I highly recommend getting a membership with one of the low cost membership only tattoo sites.

Why get a Membership?

The free tattoo sites are great for getting ideas, but most of these sites only show designs that thousands of people already have, so if you don't want the same tattoo as everyone else then a membership site is the way to go. Plus the tattoos on most of the free sites print out blurry, which makes it hard for the artist to transfer that design to you.

There are some fantastic membership sites out there, that cost only a few dollars to join and can save you a lifetime of heartache later. Joining an excellent tattoo site is kind of like hiring a professional to remodel your house, sure you could just wing it and hope for the best by doing it yourself, but it sure looks better in the long run if you hire the right person to do the job.
